FORT WORTH, TEXAS — The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) is proud to announce a landmark commitment of $3.5 million over the next five years to support ongoing property improvements designed to enhance the overall experience for exhibitors, competitors, spectators, and event planners at the Will Rogers Memorial Center.

The NCHA is partnering with the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo (FWSSR) and its support organization, Event Facilities Fort Worth (EFFW), to ensure the commitment is properly allocated to appropriate equestrian-related WRMC improvement projects. FWSSR and EFFW maintain agreements with the City of Fort Worth to provide both financial commitments and operational/ managerial functions for capital improvement projects at the city-owned WRMC facilities.

As one of the premier equine organizations in the world, the NCHA has called Will Rogers Memorial Center home for decades and recognizes the importance of continually improving the venue to meet the evolving needs of the cutting horse industry and the broader western lifestyle community.

“This commitment reflects our long-standing partnership with the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo and the City of Fort Worth,” said Jay Winborn, NCHA Executive Director.  “The Will Rogers Memorial Center is an iconic facility that plays a critical role in hosting world-class equine events, and we are proud to invest in improvements that will benefit everyone who walks through its gates.”

The $3.5 million contribution will be allocated to strategic property enhancements and facility upgrades to improve functionality, comfort, accessibility, and the overall event experience for all users of the complex.

FWSSR leadership expressed appreciation for the ongoing partnership and the shared vision for the historic venue's future.

“The National Cutting Horse Association has been an invaluable partner for many years,” said Matt Carter, FWSSR’s President and General Manager. “Their investment demonstrates a shared commitment to preserving and improving Will Rogers Memorial Center as a premier destination for western sports and events.”

The NCHA remains dedicated to strengthening the cutting horse industry while contributing to the growth and success of Fort Worth’s western heritage and event infrastructure.
