Bette Cogdell was widely admired for her enduring support of family, ranching heritage, and the sport of cutting. Together with her late husband, Billy Cogdell, she helped build Tule Ranch into a multigenerational ranching operation and contributed to the Western way of life with hospitality, faith, and quiet leadership.
Visitation and services were held on January 21, 2026, in Silverton, Texas. The NCHA extends its heartfelt prayers and sympathies to the Cogdell family during this time of loss.
