Established in 2022, the Arthur Jackson Award is presented to an individual who demonstrates a high degree of integrity in all aspects of conduct related to involvement with the NCHA — whether as a member, contestant, judge, or through any action that reflects on the Association. The award also recognizes sustained commitment to judging excellence, requiring recipients to have judged for the NCHA for a minimum of 25 consecutive years.
Bowen, a 5A NCHA judge, has met and exceeded those standards throughout his distinguished career. He has judged for the NCHA for more than 25 consecutive years and has long been respected for his fairness, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to upholding the integrity of the judging box.
In addition to his judging career, Bowen has served for many years on the NCHA Judges Rules Committee, where he played an instrumental role in shaping and maintaining the standards, policies, and ethics that guide NCHA judging today. His leadership and thoughtful contributions have helped strengthen the credibility and consistency of the Association’s judging program.
As the 2025 honoree, Bowen will be presented with an NCHA bronze trophy, and his name will be permanently added to the Arthur Jackson Memorial Plaque displayed at the NCHA office.
The NCHA congratulates Brady Bowen on this well-deserved recognition and thanks him for his decades of service, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
