Chester Martin Ransom
December 11, 1952 - March 8, 2022
Martin “Doc” Ransom, 69, of Glen Rose, Texas passed away on March 8, 2022 after his gallant battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
Martin was born on December 11, 1952, in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986, where he acquired his calling and passion for the care and well-being of horses.
Martin is survived by his wife, Leigh; his son Matthew Ransom (Courtney); his daughter Mallory Dutsch (Jonathan); his daughter Callie Carson (Austin); his brother Kelly Ransom (Sharon); his brother Randy Ransom (Diana); and his three grandchildren Grayson Ransom, Connie Jo and Tripp Carson.
Martin was preceded in death by his father, Billy Ransom, and his loving mother, Marjorie Ransom.
Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on March 23, 2022 at Wade Arena in Terrell, Texas.
