Gail Hooper: 1954-2021

Long time NCHA member of Moulton, Alabama passed away July 17.

A Celebration of Life for Gail Ann Arthur  Hooper, 66, of Moulton will be Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at 2:00 PM with Joe Howard Williamson, Tom Holt, and Rev. Dr. Bude VanDyke officiating.  Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. 

Visitation will be two hours before the service at the funeral home.  Mrs. Hooper, who died Saturday, July 17, 2021, at her residence, was born, August 25, 1954, to Ralph Arthur and Lois Coy Arthur. 

She was a member of the Episcopal Church, an active member of the National Cutting Horse Association for 38 years, NCHA Non-Pro Hall of Fame ($900,000 lifetime earnings), and an avid supporter of the Humane Society. She was a gifted western artist and a sculptor of bronze statues.  

She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include:
Husband - James Edward Hooper
Step-Son - Miles (Toni) Hooper
Step-Daughters - Monica Hooper, Michelle (Jerry) Hooper Chenault
Brother - Roger Kent Arthur
Niece - Amie Joanne Arthur
Nephew - Cristofer Darius Arthur
Step-grandchildren: Alli Bess Chenault, Tyson Edward Hooper, Lew Byars.

Pallbearers will be Miles Hooper, Lew Byars, Jerry Chenault, Mack Reed, Joe Wes Davis, Tyson Hooper.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of The Valley or NCHA Charities Foundation.
The service will be live-streaming on chclivescoring.com.
