FORT WORTH – The National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) will host a Judge Applicant Clinic on November 18, 2020 at the NCHA office in Fort Worth, Texas for prospective NCHA judges.
This clinic is open to NCHA Judge applicants who are 19 years of age or greater, have been an active NCHA member for at least five years, an active NCHA competitor for the past three years and meet the full list of requirements to be an NCHA judge.
“The Judges Department encourages and welcomes all qualified NCHA members to apply,” Pete Fanning, NCHA director of judges, said. “Becoming an NCHA Judge is not only a great accomplishment but also a way to improve your runs in the show pen by understanding what NCHA judges are looking for.”
The clinic will feature a classroom portion followed by a testing portion where applicants will view three sets by video. Applications to the clinic are available based on the lifetime earnings of the applicant and are as follows: $10,000 Lifetime Earnings, $50,000 Lifetime Earnings and $100,000 Lifetime Earnings. November 1 is the deadline to apply.
