2020 Judging Contest

2020 NCHA Judging Contest scheduled for December 4-5.

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED FOR 2020

The National Cutting Horse Association proudly announces its fifth annual cutting horse judging contest sponsored by Holy Cow Performance Horses, starting December 4, 2020, and going through December 5, 2020, held in conjunction with the 2020 NCHA North Texas Chevy Dealers World Championship Futurity presented by Great American Insurance at the Will Rogers Memorial Complex. This year, the NCHA will offer two divisions, the first will be a Youth Division (14-18) and a collegiate division.

The contest will include a rulebook test, penalty clip test, and the scoring of two sets of runs. Although the contestants will be judging cutting horses, judgers from all disciplines are welcome to participate. The entries are due Sunday, November 15, 2020, and an entry form can be found online at nchacutting.com/forms.

It is the goal of the NCHA that, by making these judging competitions available, to make this event an investment in younger generations so they may be able to, one day, thrive from this experience and gain more knowledge of their own abilities as well as those from their equine counterparts. The future of the NCHA fully rests in the hands of those who will take on the legacies that will be left behind.
