In 2018, Floyd was aboard Dynamite High Brow, as a Senior Youth finalist in the NCHA Western Nationals, and also showed the High Brow Cat gelding in last weekend’s Senior Youth Finals. Eighteen-year-old Dual Rey son Rey Bans LTE $68,621, Floyd’s mount in Tuesday’s finals, was bred by Gail Holmes and is owned by Sara Floyd. Trained by Lloyd Cox, Rey Bans had been a successful Non-Pro and Amateur limited age event competitor.

Tylor Todd made his NCHA Nationals debut last year, when he showed Catt Of Rey as a finalist in the Western Nationals $2,000 Limited Rider division. Last weekend, Todd placed fourth in the Senior Youth Finals on Cat Xcellent. Bred by Ty Moore and sired by Metallic Cat, 5-year-old Cat Xcellent LTE $28,865, was shown to place in last year’s NCHA Western Nationals $50,000 Amateur Finals by Stephanie Croft.

Cyndi Cat LTE $182,790, who tied Todd and Cat Xcellent for third, under Joseph Boyd, is a 12-year-old WR This Cats Smart daughter, bred by Jerry and Melinda Black. A successful Open and Non-Pro limited age event finalist, she was also shown by current owner Gerald Dorros, as a 2017 NCHA Scottsdale Nationals $50,000 Amateur finalist.
