Today, nine memorial scholarship funds award more than 20 scholarships each year to help ease the financial burden of advanced education. More than $1.7 million in scholarships have been awarded to children of NCHA members.
With the generous support of NCHA members, sponsors, foundations and fund-raising supporters, NYCHA is able to offer valuable scholarships each year, based on both need and merit.

Typical scholarship awards are $5,000, $2,000 or $1,000 payable in the fall and spring semesters in the amount of $2,500, $1,000 or $500 per semester. Scholarships will be paid to the college or university in the student’s name. The NCHA Charities Foundation supports these scholarships through individual donations, fundraisers and an anonymous donor.
