Duties of the Youth Committee

• The Youth Committee is appointed by the NCHA President and functions under the guidelines of the NCHA. 

• This committee is made up of adult members to guide the association and the youth officers and directors. 

• Plans and recommends fund raising projects for the Youth Association's fiscal year budget 

• Serves as the advisory committee to the National Youth Cutting Horse Association and its Executive Committee.

Their major objective is to stimulate enthusiasm and desire in the youth officers, directors, and members.  They should inform the youth organization about both the pros and cons of a possible program or action, etc.  Above all, they should refrain from actively doing the program work for the youth members.
