Summer Cutting Spectacular will be even more impressive thanks to new sponsor
The Insurance Corporation of Hannover will underwrite July event
(Fort Worth, TX) While the Insurance Corporation of Hannover's name may sound new at first to cutting horse enthusiasts, the services they provide and their representatives in the industry are indeed familiar to many "cutters." And now, The Insurance Corporation of Hannover (ICH) is sure to become a household name in the cutting horse industry as the international company has signed on to become the Presenting Sponsor of the NCHA Summer Cutting Spectacular.
The Summer Cutting Spectacular is the "third jewel" of the Triple Crown of Cutting. The first two legs are the NCHA World Championship Futurity and the Flowmaster Super Stakes. The Summer Cutting Spectacular, held in Fort Worth each July, annually boasts over 1,400 entries and a total purse of nearly $1,500,000.
The official name of the event will now become "The NCHA Summer Cutting Spectacular, Presented by the Emison Insurance Agency, Underwritten by ICH."
Among a host of insurance services provided worldwide, the Insurance Corporation of Hannover writes policies for livestock mortality through agent and NCHA member Ben Emison. Emison, who is a former NCHA Executive Committee member, is also a partner in the Western Bloodstock sales company. Emison is the "front line" link between the NCHA and the Insurance Corporation of Hannover.
"We're excited about doing business with NCHA members and being a sponsor, with the ability to put sponsor money into the NCHA," said Emison of his role as agent for the relationship. "We at Ben Emison Insurance Agency are devoted to personal service and are very proud of the opportunity to underwrite through the Insurance Corporation of Hannover."
ICH is a niche, special-program insurance company that writes policies in areas where they have special knowledge and underwriting expertise. They carry a rating of "A" from A.M. Best rating services, and are the fifth largest reinsurer in the world. Currently, ICH insures roughly 20,000 horses ranging from miniature breeding animals to cutting horses to Grand Prix jumping horses.
Greg Whaley, Vice President of Livestock Mortality for the Insurance Corporation of Hannover, is excited of the role ICH will play in the NCHA through sponsorship of the Summer Cutting Spectacular, and excited about starting new relationships with NCHA members.
"We're proud to announce the new sponsorship through the Ben Emison Insurance Agency, which is being underwritten by the Insurance Corporation of Hannover. ICH is enthusiastic about the opportunities presented by the NCHA and its membership and being able to serve the NCHA with insurance needs."
