Futurity Open finals will air Sunday, December 12 on PPV
(Fort Worth, TX)
— Once again this year, the
National Cutting Horse Association has teamed with Cowboy TV to make the
Futurity Open finals available LIVE in your home.
The live, pay-per-view telecast of the 2004 NCHA Futurity
will be aired on Dish Network. The program will be hosted by, beginning at 6:30
p.m. CST on Sunday, December 12.
The NCHA World Championship Futurity is the association’s
largest and most highly-anticipated event of the year, showcasing
three-year-old cutting horses competing for $3 million in prize money. In their
debut competition, these athletes and their riders must step in and out-perform
the rest of the field in four eliminatory rounds before being crowned a
Champion.
The 2004 NCHA World Championship Futurity will draw some
1,400 three-year-old cutting horses to compete for an estimated $3 million
purse. The pressure is high for horse and rider to succeed … the Champion of
the Open division is guaranteed $200,000. Cutting horse enthusiasts from all
over the world gather in Fort Worth every fall to witness history in the making
at the Futurity.
But again in 2004, even if you can’t make it to Fort Worth
for the Futurity, you can still see all of the action life from your own home!
Viewers will be able to see for themselves the intelligence, beauty, skill and
incredible athleticism of the 20 horses that earned the right to compete in the
Open Finals. The telecast will also include highlights from the Non-Pro cutting
finals earlier in the week.
