“We’re delighted to be able to present [the Futurity] on RFD-TV, which is truly rural America’s most important network,” said NCHA’s Executive Director, Jeff Hooper, of the sponsorship.

EE Ranches Stallion Station is home to such notable sires as Cat Ichi, the 2004 NCHA Summer Cutting Open Champion, Spots Hot, the 2004 Futurity Open Champion, and Dual Rey, the 1998 Memphis Futurity Open Champion & 2003 AQHA Freshman Sire Award Winner. Built in 2002, this state-of-the-art breeding facility has quickly become one of the premiere stallion stations in the country. From embryo transfer to foal-out and year round care, EE Ranches offers it all, and seeks to provide horse owners with the best and most successful breeding experience possible.

The sponsorship agreement between EE Ranches and NCHA will allow horse enthusiasts and those interested in the sport of cutting a front row seat to experience one of the most exciting and challenging cutting horse competitions from the comfort of home. The 2005 Futurity boasts more than 1,500 entries and $3.8 million in prize money, with a cool $200,000 going to the top horse and rider team.

The National Cutting Horse Association is made up of 16,000 members across the United States with a wide range of backgrounds. The sport of cutting has roots in Western ranching traditions, where good horses were a necessity for everyday ranch work and cattle handling. From cowgirls to CEOs, from firefighters to professional football players, the common ground is often in the cutting arena. Each year more than 2,200 NCHA-approved events are held throughout the country with more than $35 million in prize money awarded.
