(Fort Worth, TX)—The National Cutting Horse Association is
pleased to announce a new partnership agreement with Wayne Hodges Trailer Sales
and Outlaw Conversions. The new
agreement gives the title rights to both NCHA’s Eastern and Western National
Championships.
NCHA members can look for spectacular benefits from this
partnership. One three-horse slant load
trailer will be given away at both the Eastern and Western National
Championships.
“Introducing someone as close to the industry as Wayne
Hodges, as an official sponsor is a great honor,” said Jeff Hooper, NCHA
executive director. “We look forward to
being able to build a very rewarding, long-lasting partnership for both NCHA
and Wayne Hodges and Outlaw Conversions.”
Wayne Hodges built his first horse trailer in 1953,
beginning a long and esteemed career in the business. His first dealership was in Wasco, CA, but Hodges has recently
moved to Weatherford, TX.
“We sell trailers to all kinds of horse people, but cutting
is my first love,” said Hodges. “The
cutting industry has been good to me.
Collaborating with Hodges is the young company, Outlaw
Conversions. Founded in 1996, Outlaw
Conversions’ primary business line is the manufacturing of living
quarters for horse trailers.
“I feel you just can’t go wrong being an NCHA sponsor,” said
John Walker, sole proprietor of Outlaw Conversions. “Our cliental has been the cutting horse industry and now we can
be a part of it. I look forward to
being able to build long term relationships with this customer base.”
The
National Cutting Horse Association is made up of 16,000 members across the
United States with a wide range of backgrounds. The sport of cutting has roots
in Western ranching traditions, where good horses were a necessity for everyday
ranch work and cattle handling. From cowgirls to CEOs, from firefighters to
professional football players, the common ground is often in the cutting arena.
Each year more than 1,400 NCHA-approved events are held throughout the country
with more than $30 million in prize money awarded.
