Horse Association Summer Cutting Spectacular at the Will Rogers Memorial
Center. The 20-day cutting horse show is presented by Emison Insurance and
underwritten by the Insurance Corporation of Hannover. A total of 1,595 horses and riders are

Scholarship Cutting and NYCHA Convention from July 12-15. The youth members will compete in the arena,
elect new officers, and participate in many fun, family events.
A special ceremony to unveil
“The Finalist,” will take place at 10:00 a.m. on July 29 at the NCHA office,
located at 260 Bailey Avenue in Fort Worth.
World-renowned sculptor Jim Reno created this life-size bronze statue
specifically for the NCHA. The public is welcome to attend this once in a
lifetime ceremony.
In 2002, the Insurance
Corporation of Hannover joined NCHA as the title sponsor of the NCHA Summer
Cutting Spectacular. The Insurance
Corporation of Hannover is a niche, special-program insurance company that
writes policies in areas where they have special knowledge and underwriting
expertise. In this case, ICH writes livestock
mortality policies. The company carries
an “A” rating from A.M. Best rating services, and is the fifth-largest
re-insurer in the world.
Among a host of insurance
services provided worldwide, ICH writes policies for livestock mortality
through agent and NCHA member, Ben Emison.
Emison has been active in the NCHA since 1977 as a cutter, a judge, a
director, and a member of the Executive Committee. He is also a partner in the Western Bloodstock sales company, and
serves as the “front line” link between the National Cutting Horse Association
and the Insurance Corporation of Hannover.
Policies underwritten by ICH
through Emison Insurance offer coverage for full mortality, free emergency
colic surgery, major medical, surgical, and loss of use. Group plans are available, as is guaranteed
renewal.
“Insurance Corporation of
Hannover, represented by Ben Emison Insurance has enjoyed the opportunity of
insuring the NCHA membership base and their substantial equine investments,”
said Greg Whaley, Vice President of Livestock Mortality for ICH. “During the past several years, with the
decline in the investment markets, ICH has seen new and renewed awareness from
NCHA members in the importance of investing in family and their interests and
in insuring their valuable companions against unexpected loss.”
